Last minute serving opp. this saturday

PLEASE FORWARD TO YOUR SMALL GROUPS!!

I’ve relied on email and X-flash to spread the work for this event in hopes that a small group would sign-up to do this.  Bayshore Christian Ministries is an awesome ministry and I would hate to cancel on them.  PLEASE EMAIL ME BY WED NIGHT IF YOU OR YOUR SMALL GROUP WANT TO SERVE A MINISTRY IN NEED.  DETAILS BELOW!  If I get 7-8 people who contact me by then (or a small group), I won’t cancel/postpone.  FYI— the weather is supposed to be cloudy, mid-60’s and NO rain!

Opportunities in City Team

Here's a great source community service needs from
City Team.  Below is a link to their volunteer
calendar:

http://www.cityteam.net/cgi-bin/calendar/calendar.cgi?shared=on

For those that are interested in a particular event,
you should click on the link of the event on the
calendar to see if there may still be open volunteer
positions for the event.  If there are, you should
then email Dick House at dhouse@cityteam.org to
reserve spots for their group.  This should be done
ASAP because there is a bit of a lag time between when
people volunteer and when the online calendar is
updated.  So, positions may not be open by the time
you email Dick House.
